The Italian Paralympic Committee has named Oscar De Pellegrin as flag bearer of the Italian delegation at the Paralympic Games in London.
Oscar De Pellegrin was born in Belluno (Italy) in 1963, from Barcellona 92 he partecipated in five editions of the Paralympic Games winning one gold medal and 5 bronze medals in two different sports: shooting and archery.
In shooting he won two bronze medals in Barcellona 92 and Atlanta 96. In archery he won a team gold medal and an individual bronze medal in Sydney 2000 and an other bronze medal in Beijing 2008.
Oscar De Pellegrin, after learning the news, has said: “It is a great honour for me and it is a reward for my whole career”.
