The President of the Organizing Committee, Mr Paolo Poddighe, has communicated that due to Covid-19 emergency situation, the LOC cannot guarantee the organization of the Para-Archery European Championships, which was scheduled in Olbia from 30 April to 9 May 2021, and that they are forced to cancel such a Championships.
Meanwhile, the LOC is working for refunding all those Associations who already paid the entry fees and accommodation costs.
Such a Championships was valid as Tokyo Paralympics CQT, fact which represents an even more distressful situation for all those athletes who were looking forward to competing and being part of the qualification process. Further information will be provided as soon as we get new instructions on the qualification process from IPC through WA.
