THE FRENCH ARCHERY FEDERATION BROKE THE BARRIER OF 70.000 MEMBERS
The French Archery Federation broke, on 19th February, the barrier of 70.000 members. The 70.000th member is a 21 years old archer.
A considerable increase has been noticed in the French Clubs (1650!) since last September, just after the Olympic Games in London.
Infact, such an increase, is the result of an efficient press campaign in favour of the archery before the Olympic Games, combined with the success of the Olympic archery competitions, despite the absence of the French archers from the London 2012 podium.
The distribution of the 70.000 French Federation members is as follows: 46% are 21 years old and younger, 30% are adults and 24% are masters.
Congratulations to the French Archery Federation!
