On Sunday 24th January, the Italian Archery Federation held its General Assembly and elections.
The Assembly gave a new four-year term for President of FITARCO to Mr. Mario Scarzella, who defeated his opponent, Mr. Paolo Poddighe (former Vice-President of Fitarco), standing at 64% of all voters.
As far as the Board is concerned, the Italian Archery Association has achieved full gender equity. The Board is now enriched by five female members.
“I sincerely thank each one of you for your trust”, said a visibly touched newly re-elected President, “I promise to only get better at my work as President and to move forward with the aim of making Fitarco achieving always greater results in Europe and around the world. I have been leading Fitarco since 2001 with passion and love for our Sport which will never shake. Thank you”
