2nd leg of European Youth Cup is ended in Porec (CRO) with new winners.
A sunny and hot week in Porec, not only for the weather but also for matches and emotions for all the young archers (and official too, of course).
In Recurve Junior Men Mete GAZOZ (TUR) is again on top of the podium, as in the first leg.
“Home” archers Domagoj BUDEN is the winner in Compound Junior Men and Amanda MLINARIC takes bronze in Compound Cadet Women. BUDEN, SIMIC and VAVRO take first position in Compound Junior Men Team.
A geat double for Great Britain in Recurve Cadet Men: Alex WISE is first and Jacob REID second; double also for France in the women division with first place of Kyla TOURAINE-HELIAS and her team-mate Lisa BARBERIN second.
Estonian is “super” in Compound division with Lisell JAATMA (gold) and Kristi ILVES (silver) on Junior Women podium and Robin JAATMA with first place in Cadet Men.
At the end of event GREAT BRITAIN is first in the final medal standings for nations with 9 medals (5 golds, 2 silvers and bronzes); 2nd place for ITALY with 6 medals, same as FRANCE but in 3rd position.
